It's official

Bonnie Miriam

From Jerilyn:
Bonnie means "good" . . . which is true as long as she's full.
Miriam has three meanings: Sea of bitterness, Rebellious, or (ironically) Hoped-for child.
But Jerilyn had heard it meant "miracle," and by the time she found out otherwise, the name had stuck.

So that's how she became EASTER BONNIE!
(Get it? I didn't come up with it, but I totally wish I had.)

A funny story from Friday just after Jerilyn got out of surgery:

Everyone: Whatshernamelovethehairhowdiditgonamethebabyalreadyhowmuchdoessheweighdidyounameheryet?
Jerilyn: Oh my goodness, just a minute! I'm numb from the chest down and I can't move my legs!
Everyone: (Short silence)
Mom: Oh, WAH WAH WAH!

(Upon which everyone laughed.)

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go lie down.

I happily take credit for Easter Bonnie! I'm going to Eugene tomorrow and will look for a cute little hat with 'Bonnie' ears. She is adorable. The black and white photo is beautiful. Trina you are truly gifted with a camera. Jerilyn smooch that sweet baby for me. I'll check in on you and Bonnie on Tuesday.
