The Green Weiner rises from the dust.

This is Brett, I use Aubrey's log in because I keep forgetting to ask Derek.

Anyway, in a moment of insanity Dad and I decided to resurrect the Suburban for use as a people hauler. Why?Because four scout outings in Jackie's car have shown me what scouts can to a vehicle, and now that the '79 Suburban is a classic, (no, really!) it's time to create one sweet ride.

So, here are some progress pictures, and the eventual specs:

Rebuilt 350 small block 0.40 over pistons with 300 hp cam.

Rebuilt front suspension.

Classic vinyl seats mid and rear for dirty scouts, Plush blue velour captains chairs in front for overweight worn out scoutmasters.

Manual windows and door locks, Walmart CD player with 6 cheap speakers.

A/C if I can get it to work and maybe cruise control if I can find a 30 year old vacuum actuator.

Emerald green metallic paint on the lower half if I can find the time, to commemorate her history.

Admit it, you're jealous

I'll admit it. I'm jealous. And just give me your google account (usually your gmail address) and I'll add you as an author.
