Something to Think About

The impression to share this has stayed with me all day, so I'm just going to go with it. Yesterday a blog I was reading pointed to this song. The song is about the anguish of the family of an infant having to leave this life too early and that when we go through severe (or any) trials in this life, we are "held". One part of the song had a big impact on me:

If hope is born of suffering,
And if this is only the beginning,
Can we not wait for one hour
Watching for our Savior?

That was the question of the Savior to His disciples, "What, could ye not watch with me one hour?" In the eternal perspective, He only asks that we watch one hour, but that during that hour if we seek Him, we will be held. That thought has had a profound impact on me. Maybe it will have an effect on you as well.
