For my birthday one year not too long after my accident, Dad planted this tree in the hope that I could see the autumn colors when I looked out the window. I never was able to see it too well from the windows in that house, but every autumn from this house I get a spectacular display. Today I was thinking that most of you miss that, so I thought I'd share.

That tree is incredible! I remember when it was planted.
Wow! What a beautiful tree! One of many in Oregon. We sure do miss the beautiful scenery, although today I did see the most gorgeous, bright yellow cottonwoods here in so. Utah.
